Training

Associated Business Consultants offers both on-site and classroom training for various subjects. Most of our training is conducted at the customer's location in a one-on-one environment to best address specific training issues. Courses are available in several subjects, including: Prepress, graphics and design: Applications- Adobe Photoshop, Adobe PageMaker, Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Freehand, QuarkXPress Concepts- Scanning and photo manipulation, font management, preparing files for output, pre-press in a Windows environment, troubleshooting, and a variety of custom topics from beginner to advanced. Internet: Netscape Navigator, Microsoft Internet Explorer, web page design, and the basics of email, newsgroups, file transfer and "netiquette." Systems management: Microsoft Windows NT Server Administration, Introduction to Windows 98, 2000, XP Office productivity: Microsoft Office, incl: Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, ACT! Multimedia: Coda Finale In most cases, on-site training is only $250 for half-day sessions. Some topics would take more or less time to cover adequately. Our staff can customize the training to meet your exact needs by accomodating your level of previous experience, working around your busy schedule (day, weeknight and weekend classes available) and focusing on your individual work practices.
