Associated Business Consultants (ABCon) is a Value Added Reseller (VAR), Systems Integrator (SI) and Internet Solutions Provider (ISP) located on the Capitol Square in Madison, Wisconsin. ABCon has been a provider of quality, cost-effective computer products since 1988. We have constantly updated our selection of leading edge management information tools to encompass a complete line of computer systems, peripherals, networking solutions, and office management applications for Microsoft Windows based (NT, W2000 and XP) systems. While our range of experience and breadth of knowledge held by our staff and affiliated consultants allows us to provide business solutions to a broad spectrum of clients, we focus most of our expertise on Systems and Networking Solutions, Internet Technology, Consulting and Service Support for small business companies or organizations. Our clients include publishers, printers, banks, law firms, insurance companies, real estate developers, builders, professional associations, and social service agencies. (our HELPDESK is just a click away) Value Added Reseller (VAR)As a Value Added Reseller, ABCon will assemble a package of hardware devices and software products that have been determined will best meet the clients requirements and needs. The complete package will be assembled into the required configuration, thoroughly tested, installed and integrated into the existing network, if any, at the clients location. A final systems check will be performed to ensure that the package meets all the requirements that were requested and purchase. Often when a client needs require new equipment or software, this new package may need to be integrated into an existing legacy system. Our job is to first determine if the new product is capable of being integrated into the existing system and if not, can anything be done to make the old system compatable with the new hardware or software. These are skills and functions that the average client usually not prepared to perform, even if they recognize the possible incompatabilities. ABCon's experience and skills at performing these required tasks, often mean the difference between completion of the project at the budgeted cost or possible not completing the project at all.
